Serious, talked to a guy working there. The whole reason I started asking was because they weren't placed in the normal reptile section. They had placed them up front where you check out. Can't remember if it was a petsmart or petco because I frequent both.
Edit: My brother just reminded me...
As far as chameleons go panthers and veileds are the hardiest of the species. Veileds are usually recommended for beginners, but you should be able to take on the responsibilities of owning a panther if you do your research.
Enclosures is dependent on a few things. If you live somewhere...
If it is a 3 month old male then you wouldn't see to much coloration till it gets much older. You pretty much described my 2 1/2 month old male ambilobe. Post some pictures and I'm sure someone will be able to identify sex and age.
Edit: nvm on the pics, it looks about 3 months old male to...
Lights are off at 9:00 but she gets on her sleeping branch sometimes around 8:00. When I caught her this time she was lower in the cage and eyes closed. Also, when I opened her enclosure to inspect her she acted as if she didn't see me until I was an inch away. She seems fine now but, like i...
They do this all the time where I'm at. A couple weeks ago they had a couple adult iguanas that had been left in an apartment (intentionally) after someone moved. They were trying to sell them for $200 or something for the pair. Last time I visited they had a large amount of snakes 6-7 that...
I use 80% real plants/trees. Some of my plants don't reach the top of the enclosure, therefore I use some fake plants up top to make them feel more hidden. Once the plant grows thick into the cages I'll remove the fake plants.
They are only used to fill in the blank/empty spots at the moment.
Talking to me? I use their calcium and it "works" for lack of a better word. Been using it on all 3 of my chams and they aren't having any MBD issues. I don't know how it compares to rep cal but calcium can't vary that much between brands.
And my experience with premiumcrickets.com and all...
For 1.5 lbs (which will last you forever) at http://www.premiumcrickets.com cost $6.00. Standard shipping to east coast will probably be around $10. Thats $16 and thats about 6 times as much calcium then the rep cal 4.1 ounce countainer.
My local petco and petsmart sometimes receive adult veiled for free from people that can't care for them anymore or don't want them. They usually look dehydrated and not so healthy but they sell them for 150+ sometimes. The 3 month olds they receive regularly sell for around 100.
Agreed, it possibly is something else. I'll just check temperatures and keep close observation of her. Might be stress she isn't very friendly but apart from that she looks great and no other health issues. Chams are just so delicate so any symptoms of a health issue gets me worried. I'll see if...
I guess I'm warning people about my experience with the 10.0. It was suppose to be experimental anyways. My husbandry I believe to be very tradional with what everyone else does with their veiled with exception of using a 10.0 reptisun. Therefore, I assumed or narrowed down the cause to be it...
She usually hides in the evening if she does. She's not gravid and she eats like a pig. I just assumed it had to do with 10.0 because thats the only thing I've changed recently. I gutload the crickets with a dry gutload from premiumcrickets.com and also with collared greens, oranges, apples...
Linear but its not the only time I've seen her with her eyes closed during the day. I've caught her with her eyes closed during the day but she usually quickly opens them when I come near. Today her eyes were completely closed and she was pretty much sleeping very low in her enclosure. You think...
Now this might not apply to every veiled female cham seeing as I've read many people use 10.0 on large enclosures successfully. Anyways, a month and a half ago I experimented using a 10.0 in her enclosure. My logic behind this was because the UVB rays would extend further down the larger...
Can't you just order online. I've had no problem with my last week order thru premium cricket co. All adults and very healthy. maybe 10 our of 250 died from shipping and currently the ones I have a few finished their final molt winged a and everything.

Yours just looks clean and well taken care of...
Also, I don't know anything about animal cruelty laws. Thats could be possible criminal act. It's really all about proving it. If these exchanges of threats are just between you and her than its your word against her.
On a side note, I'm in the pharmaceutical business and could probably...
Yeah, I agree. Get a couple locks and make sure she can't even get in the room. Even if she is family living under the same house you can get destruction of property charges brought down upon her. You just need the proof. If you are the only one with the key and she breaks down the door or lock...
