they can survive vary cold temps. My wife threw away some rottin fruit in the trash outside that had a few dubias on it (she refuses to touch them).and there were a few still alive a week later and its been around 32-45 out side! Im sure its not good for them but they are survivng!

i use 1 cup of dog food, one box of raisin bran, dehydrated mixed fruits so they wont go bad. I throw in some multi vitamins that i feed my chameleon and calcium. Then i jst give them and fruits or vegies that are about to go bad out of my fridge(seem to be quite a bit). They are like living...
