Well I have had him for a while now and he is still a jumper... He wont stay still he jumps out of my hands and runs away on the carpet. He is never aggraessive and only hisses when he is really pissed from falling after he jumps. I can put my hand in to feed and clean and he just watchs never...
I made my feeding cups by takeing a deli cup and cuting of the bottem. Then I glued some screen to it. Now all cricket poop and anything nasty falls out.
cup feeding is very nice when they are little. The little feeders are hard to find later and if there in the cup you know your guy ate them. Also if they are in the cup you know the dust is on them. I found free range crickets seem to loose the dust. But you got the cham to watch is do its...
Both of my chams always seem to know when there lights are about to go out. I have there lights come on at 6:30am and turn off at 6:30pm. At about 6:10pm he goes to his perch and curls up. Its like clockwork.
You wont dehydrate a cham by not watering the cage for one day. Its not like there is a constant 5 min rain 3 times a day in the wild. Your problem is something else.
well maybe you can raise him but for the cham gene pool please never try to breed him. For the hobby we should try and keep the best and strongest genes moving.
is this the pan? Thats been the hardest part of biulding the new cage the drain.

I never had an issue with it. I watch TV all night with my guy in the room. If I go to look at him he is dead asleep even if my dog hits the stand the cage is on. I think it takes alot to wake them up. Think about a windy, raining, active jungle. They evolved in worse.
I still cant get this guy to hold still. I want to sun him but he just will not hold still for anything. I cant get him more then 6 in out of his carge before he tries to bolt. I tried this morning to hold him, he fell and started to hiss so I put him right back. He ran up to the top of his...
I tried them for my panther. He ate them only after there was no more crickets. Just dont get small they were way small even for a 3 month old panther. Also them not climbing is bull. Use a tall cup they move alot. They cant stick to walls.
Well I have been using the vit-all for a while now and it seems to work well. The crickets it all right up and my guy is nice and healthy.
But it is expensive so when I am out I think I will switch to WER.
Lot and lots of info on this subject just search.
Well I will say my two cents. is that cage 30in Tall? I hope so chams love to climb and the taller the better. You should use no substrate. I put down cheap tiles from Home Dept so it looks good. Its better this way. When I had a...
