is it the baby male i have ordered from you? i have noticed strange ocasions were my female veiled will have almost "pen" markings on her tail or back, some of the more recent times she has decided to come out but a light touch sets all the scales green again... it had me very worried as you can...
I'm going to choose my words carefully because I stated a huge fight with my last set of posts, and I assure you that was not my intention then or now.
From my experice with birds. If you take uv photographs, special photographs that record the reflected lengths at wavelengths invisible to the...
my cham also sits in the corner often because its the closest corner to the window full of plants, the highest point in my cage is nearest to the basking lamp, but the whole top of her cage is pretty even. i could only assume she is dreaming of comming out because if i ever open the cage she...
looks like your cham is doing much better, congrats!!!
also cool set up, i have a single vine of fake flowers in my cage and my cham spends more time on it than on the actual plants durring the day, but sleeps on the real plants at night... go figure :P
luckey! i wish i knew of a nursery who specifically grew orchids and gave me a deal on them XD...
my dream job would be growing lots of orchids and breding chams... but for now im just trying my best at aerospace :P
so right now i have 4 different phal orchids and two Hawaiian orchids that are the same plant but split, and im going to get another here pretty quick.
they are a little more time consuming than other plants, but not more so than any cham, and they make good additions to your cage because...
looks good, id get a pothos (make sure its not a philodendron) and a few other live plants to replace the fake foliage. more live plants help the humidity. another option is if you cover the soil of the plants with sphagnum moss instead of river rock. it maintains and releases moisture more than...

im not 100% sure of how old my veiled is because i got her for free from a pet store who just wanted to get rid of her so i got her as a freebe... she is young.. between 3-6 months is my guess... i have tons of pics on my profile... im also going to get a fairly young (3-4 month) panther soon...
so then my question is do you do anything to cham proof your house?
they are like little quiet children, silently running around getting into things... we dont want them to get hurt... my veiled crawls EVERYWHERE!
wry hello thar...
i mean, it looks like we are in the same boat and our chams are very similar in age.
take a look at this link, this guy is a mod here on the forums and is very helpful

when she is a bit older(5-6 months) he suggests...
stupid question... but how do you train your chams to come back to you if they get out of reach or you are looking for them? or do you keep an eye on them throught their free range time?
picture is kindof blury... what did you pay for it?
to me it looks like a panther chameleon, if the store said it was nosey be than your panther will end up mostly blue in color... and i expect you paid around 200 for it
amiright?
also if you wouldnt midn filling out the help form, we can...
walmart sells shorter fixtures for cheap... (6$) lowes and home depot sell bigger for slightly more but less expensive than a "reptile hood" and they do the exact same thing, light up the light bulb
the bulbs are best to buy online because that is the cheapest i have found them...
as you have been told, bark is a bad idea, you can cover it in large river rocks or even sphagnum moss (no idea how to spell it but its commonly found in the plant section of lowes homedepot walmart and any other store).
