I ordered 500 1/8 inch crickets from LLL Reptile, I recieved them today, the box was marked 1,000 1/8 inch crickets. Upon further review, I think there were way more than 1,000! :D:D:D

Back to the topic. What do you guys think about the name El Cuco? Its basically the Spanish version of the bogeyman

I was told 1/4 inch crickets are being fed to he El Cid boys so probably similar size I would say.

I am! However mine is a boy of El Cid. I am super excited! I've looked at so many pictures of baby chams it's not even funny.

I bought 500 in hopes that I could feed some, mixed with crickets and by the time my cham was all grown up I would have a colony :) do you think this is how it will turn out or am I missing something? lol

And I can't decide on a name!!! I am in between "Ferdinand Magellan" just "Magellan" for short, or "El Calor" which means heat in spanish, I think this is fitting because his sire's name is "El Cid". Suggestions? Thoughts?

I bought 500 babies from the Roach Ranch, I figure I will just supplement with Crickets from Petco until my Roaches are up and running :D

Thanks for the input! I will probably just buy small amounts of crickets from my pet store when needed rather than buying in bulk from some place online.

In anticipation of my new cham I have decided that I want to use dubia roaches as feeders instead of crickets! My cham is just old enough to ship however so I assume that he will need some smaller dubias, If I bought a starter colony would there be some in there that he would be able to feed on...
