you can tell if she if eggbound if- 1. she is very "fat" 2. if she doesnt eat. (im not sure if this is right) 3. she will have little bumps on her belly 4. if she starts digging holes if you provide a laying bin.

how much should a chameleon drink? lately (the past few days) my chameleon seems to really like water.:rolleyes: ive never seen him drink this much!:confused: ive seen him drink 3x today. each time about for 5 min.:eek: the wierd thing is, he will only drink when I'm around, i put a water...

dont worry. my cham didnt eat for a couple days. once their instinct kicks in they will eventually eat. try offering it as many different feeders as possible. but pssh is right, chameleons can go a loooooong time without food. as long as you give him the right water supply he will be fine.

that is truely one of the most beautiful and handsome nosy bes ive ever seen.:D you should feel lucky just to have him!:p he kind of looks like a different locale on his own, different from all the others!:D

when i buy superworms, they come in this little container with a bunch of these little flakes. can i just put them in a bin with some apples and carrots in it?

nah its fine. i had just misted him and the top of the cage was wet. i assume he slipped and fell. ive seen him climb on top all the time and he didnt fall.:p

he was in the same spot for a minute, i was starting to worry he broke something!:eek: but then he climbed back up to his basking spot.:D

i just misted my chameleon, and of all things he could do while the roof of his cage was wet, he had to go climb on the ceiling.:eek: luckily he fell right on the leaves. phew.! hope hes ok!:p
