Very nice pictures. That is a beautiful mellers. They really do have great personalities. I love the progression of the pictures. They go from back off I'm really cranky to hey let me smile for the camera because I'm handsome.
The one I had was probably my favorite chameleon that I ever...
I got to the show about noon. I was very disappointed with the chameleon selection. There was one guy that had a few panthers there. I saw one of them was priced at $400. He had a few for $150 I believe.
There was a guy in the back that had a few veileds. He had them in little cups on a table...
If your friend's family has the funds, hopefully he has the time. Time to me is just as important as the money. I could have a million dollars but if I wasn't home to take care of the chams then I wouldn't own one. (which time seems like not much of a problem considering they already have...
That is odd. I used to have a green tree python years ago. Beautiful snake but wow what a bad temperment. The snake never did what you are mentioning. I know some white lipped pythons do that. They call it casting. But usually thats only a few days after eating. Let us know what you find out.
I'd have to agree that bio vines and jungle vines are well worth the money. Pretty much a one time purchase. The only other thing I can think of is rope, but I have never used it so I cant really say exactly how good that is although many people have had success with it.
And SSimsswiSS is...
I wash my reptarium in the washing machine. I also use just a very tiny amount of bleach although Apogee recommends against it. They claim it could degrade the fabric over time. They recommend using a mild detergent but I'm not too sure if I like that idea. Use a gentle cycle on the washer, and...
Omg that's terrible. I don't understand why someone would do something like that to such a sweet looking dog. When I was younger one of my neighbors shot and killed our german shepherd puppy because he was "too close" to his pet pig. It takes a special kind of idiot to do things like this.
You...
Anyone planning on going to the Northwestern Berks show in Hamburg this weekend? The temperature outside is supposed to be in the low 50's so I don't think the fieldhouse will be as unbearable as usual :). I hope.
Usually I try to cup feed supers, but sometimes I'll put one on the side of the screen cage. I always watch to make sure the superworm is eaten and not roaming somewhere in the cage.
Usually I only go to the Hamburg, PA show. There was a few more chams than usual at the last one I went to, but nothing like some of the other shows I see pics of here. I agree about the designer balls, dragons, and leo's. Those and corn snakes. I have nothing against them, and own some too, but...
After reading through many threads regarding the 10.0 and 5.0 debate I decided to use a 5.0 in my 24x24x48 cages with no problems at all as long as there was a vine/perch about 6-8 inches away from it. Thats what seemed to work best for me but I'm sure there's many other ways to do it. I do use...
Great pics. Love the deremensis. She looks like a real sweety. That female senegalensis looks great especially after fighting an infection. Great job :)
My oustalet will do the same thing on occasion. He'll either sit there and savor the flavor, although he usually only does that with silks and supers, or he'll devour what he's eating. Athough I have noticed on more than one occasion him sitting there with a super in his mouth not eating and the...
I've had them shed in a 4-8 hour timeframe. Especially my montium. He seems to shed as fast as I sneeze. What kind of cham do you have and how old is he/she?
