Oh he certainly hates the camera. He gave me "the eye" for the rest of the day. I didn't want to take too many shots because I don't want to add to the stress that he's gone through already.
Thanks for the compliments. I love mellers chameleons. What personalities they have.
He/she is starting to acclimate well. I'm not really sure of the age. I got him wild caught. I weighed him about 2 weeks ago and he was 151 grams. Length was 7 inches snout to vent. He's eating like a horse...
I got him 2 weeks go. I snapped these right after he had a nice long misting.
He's got a great personality already, but he doesn't quite appreciate the camera yet.
Next I have to come up with a name for him :)
This is my first post on here in a long time. I lost my father in May and it took a while to start getting back in the swing of things. But I wanted to share the new w/c mellers chameleon I got at the Hamburg, Pa show last weekend...
These arent the best pictures in the world. I took them...
Hopefully your fears wont play out, but it appears it's a possibility from what you're saying. One of my ex's had a son that had the same anger issue. I can understand a little bit what you're going through.

I just got some dubias today too for the first time. There were some concerns but the more I observed them the more interesting they became. I imagined them as hard bodied, not what they feel like. I took one of the females out of the enclosure and held it for a bit and the creepy factor went...
I've never had luck finding any silkies in NJ. I always order mine from Mulberry or Coastal. There are one or two members in NJ that sell some on occasion.
It's really nice to see you are taking the steps to try to help. Thumbs up for that.
Do you know what kind of setup your friend has for the mellers, anything relating to the care of the mellers that is being given? Obviously if the mellers hasn't been to a vet it needs to go to one from the...
What kind of worms are falling off the branch? If they're supers just let the worm attach to the side of the screen cage. They seem to hold on quite well, and my chams seem more apt to eat them that way than cup feeding.
That's a good idea. I'll try that next time I feed them off. My oustalet goes crazy over the beetles anyway, so removing the outer shell will just make it more enjoyable for him.
I also second Flash. Dudley was a good suggestion too.
I just can't see how you are able to wait until April 6th. That's one of the most adorable puppies I've ever seen.
Besides the normal authorities that you notified already, make sure to keep checking any other pet shops even if they're quite a distance from you. Also, if there's any reptile breeders around ask them to keep an eye out for someone trying to unload any chameleons. And don't forget to keep an...
