So my baby panther arrived today! Came out very active and started drinking soon after. He's a lot smaller than I was thinking but he will grow. Super stoked but I've left him alone for a while since he's stressed from the trip. Pics to come soon.
Okie dokie...my baby panther will be here on Friday! I'm so stoked...do u think 2 more bamboo sticks will be enough? I have golden pothos starting up both sticks that are in there now
Check out my new cage setup. The heat light needs a new bulb but everything else is finished!
What do you think? This will be my first cham and its my first time setting up a living space so be nice lol
It really depends on what you really want and have ready. Water dragons take a much larger viv.
Pro's to chameleon
-Smaller enclosure needed and is easier to maintain
-IMO prettier to look at
-Easier to handle although water dragons won't get as stressed as a cham will over holding
-Many...
I know that about wild caught but I was asking about CB vs CBB. Are CB hard to tame or are they just a little bit harder to tame than CBB?
What I meant when I meantioned the WC was is the difference between CB and CBB the same as WC and CB.
The deal I found yesterday is gone but I have found a Baby Male Nosy Be for $195 after shipping. Do they stay blue most of the time? His dads really cool looking. I posted a pic of the sire.
So I started this thread as a veiled or jackson and I'm 99% sure I'm gunna get a Panther! Now another hard decision. Which one? Lol its between Nosy Be, Amilobe and Ambanja. Honestly I'll be happy with any of them but its a hard choice lol. Thanks everyone for their thoughts!
So I found a baby Ambanja Panther from lllreptile.com for the cheapest I have seen a Panther, after shipping its $145. There is also a blue bar Amilobe for the same price. I'm leaning towards the Ambanja but I'm still unsure lol. Man this is a hard choice.
While it is my first cham I'm not concerned about being able to keep it healthy. I've done loads of research and plan to have his home set up and maintained for awhile before I get him. I really like the triceretops look of the Jackson but I prefer the colors more. I'm not planning on handling...
So I'm having trouble deciding which one to get and where to get it from. I'm curious as to which one has better coloration and temperment. I know some of the answers will be biased but I'm still interested to hear your thoughts. FYI I know I want to get a male and I'd prefer to get it as a baby.
