its at the tip... i administer the clavamox using a typical 1.0ml syringe. i just put her to bed..i bought a ceramic lamp for night time . tomorrow morning when i give her the dosage, ill try and snap a picture.
i noticed the spot today, she is a nosy be panther... i don't think the vet saw the spot the other day, it may have very well been there and he over looked it; im not sure :(. she is currently getting a daily .05 ml dosage of Clavamox. i will be calling on monday but until then i'm trying to do...
anyone? a comment or something...no ones ever seen or heard of spots on a chameleons tongue. im just looking for some knowledge on the matter. experience, ANYTHING!!!:mad:
hey everyone,
so my female has some sort of infection. this winter has been tough on her with her new cage and not being able to get the temps high enough in it..anyways she is on antibiotics and is holding up. i moved her into my laundry room where its nice and warm, she is in a smaller cage...
I don't think anyone was putting a blame on the breeder. I do think that its the person who shipped the animal who is responsible for its integrity. if the animal arrives sick chances are it was sick before it left and then started showing symptoms after a night of discomfort..who knows. bottom...
if you don't mind em asking. who is the vendor? from your video you can see the extra swelling in her throat. my little girl right not has an RI, doesn't look as bad but i have her on clavamox right now....
i'm trying to picture what the chameleons tongue is doing.."takes off upwards...". you should really fill out the chameleon info so we understand everything that is going on. being in a cage, chameleons tend to get lazy with their tongues and wont shoot as far or barely at all. how are you...
i would try to see if they can cover the vet bill at least. i mean the animal you have is a living thing who needs care and love. A respiratory infection is no reason to send it back for a new one but it should definitely be covered by the breeder. it only says one thing, that the breeder is not...
sorry to hear about your freak accident. i myself have dealt with a cham falling 3+ feet on its back and being perfectly fine.. after reading the posts it seems the fall wasn't what did it. could he have possibly shot for something in your room that he shouldn't have eaten? maybe poison? the...
heat could have been the issue which in hand most likely caused the RI. Definitely go to the vet cause its too late to do anything with out some anti-biotic. try and keep the basking area nice and hot like low 90's if you can. also at night try and prevent such a dramatic temp drop since your...
i purchased a female nosy panther in early june, she was so tiny and i didnt have a problem raising her because i have done it before. her basking tem was in the mid 80's with ambient temps in the mid 70's. As she got older ive raised her basking temps to high 80's low 90. humidity was good but...
female panther has not eaten in a solid 2 weeks.. she cut back from eating around christmas (mind you she was eating well everyday till then..). i put a shallow bin in her enclosure (like i was told) to help with signs of egg laying..lately shes showing dark coloration as if she is gravid but no...
yeah i would love to see what your talking about.i just got my cages from DIY and i haven't head of plates to put in the corners.pictures would be great :)
Hey everyone, i bought two new cages and i have no clue where to put the misting nozzles.. I'm looking for some ideas of what i should do. The only thing i could think of was make cuts in the middle of the top screen for the nozzle to fit, then silicone it. the only problem with that is i wont...
pretty sure that doesn't answer your question... i just wouldn't bother with the styrofoam. the cardboard is the way to go and the styrofoam could be a potential hazard especially if the crix are eating it.
