You have to check the ballast in the fixture to see if it will also work with the t-8 lamp. The pins are the same but the ballast is what make the lamp light.

How often will a panther chameleon shed. I have had my panther for 4 weeks and he is just starting his second shed.

What is wrong with the black light I use it for a basking light and is turned off at night. I also have a UVB Reptisun 10 strip light.

Lighting If your strip light came with a plastic lens you have to remove it. Plastic and glass blocks almost all of the UVB.

He is around four months old. I saw him the day the reptile store got him in around a month ago. He has aready doubled in size since then.

My son go a panther chameleon for Christmas and just wanted to show him off. I will be the main caretake of the chameleon. My son named him Yoda.

I would go with the strip light and use a T8 uvb. Exchange the double dome light and get a single dome and use that for the black light heat source.

Can you let me know how you feed dubia roaches to your chameleon. Do you let them free roam? Any advice would help. When I put a roaches in the cage they go to the bottom and the chameleon can not get to them.
