Chams change color for many reasons, stress, cold, warm, happy, angry or anything else. Make sure your temps. are ok. You shouldn't handle chams that much, because the get stressed really easy, you should only handle your cham for cleaning or taking them outside to get sun, those are the only...

What ever he is, his got amazing blues and greens on him and the red spots around his eyes are cool.:D

It doesn't saying anything about the Majesty Palm being harmful to chams, so you can use it, but keep an eye out on your cham. It also said that it is really hard to be kept alive indoors and it does much better outside. Hope this helps.:D
