can anyone tell me what this bug is? it came with some crickets i got a couple days ago and i was wondering if its going to turn into anything that my cham can eat or should i throw it out?
i have noticed with my veiled that he only hisses at other people and not me, and whenever someone else is in the room he hides in the plants but when its just me hes absolutely fine
the worst thing i ever did was let my cham climb on the blinds because now everytime i bring he out he heads straight for them and i can never get him off!
really sorry to here about your loss and im going to agree with everyone else and say its definately a learning experience that takes practice and lots of researching to get right
with my first cham the only thing i didn't have was a uv light and he got a really bad case of MBD
i know your not really supposed to handle them all that much but are they more willing to come out of there cage then a veiled? because my veiled absolutely hates coming out
and i think im gonna go with a carpet because i dont really have all that much space for it, and they are less expensive
yeah if its WC i was planning on that but i can't really seem to find many sambavas out there that are for sale because they get baught up fairly quick
im going to start looking for another cham, im not sure whether to get a carpet chameleon or a sambava, any ideas?
i won't be ready to get it for a few months but i just wanted to start looking now and find some options out there
thanks for all the help everyone, and yes i gutload them and dust them 3-4 times a week but i was giving him crickets for a long time but he won't eat them anymore!
are superworms a good staple feeder? i was giving my cham mealworms for a white but he got tired of those but superworms are the only other availible other food except for crickets that i don't have to order
i was just thinking about that, what should i use for the substrate?
i was reading some old posts and found out the temp should be 72-74, is that correct? and how long is the incubation period?
well the one thats digging is a little smaller then the other one but when do they become sexually mature? because as i were told they are both juveniles but i will watch it closely and thanks everyone for the information
