Is 90 degrees too hot for my 3 month old veiled chameleon to go outside to get some natural sunlight? I want to take him out tomorrow but it's going to be 88 degrees here tomorrow. Should I put him in full sun or part sun?
Hi, I'm just interested in what everyone feeds their veiled chameleons and what their feeding schedule is, for example, I feed my juvenile male veiled crickets Monday, Dubia roaches Tuesday, Phoenix worms Wednesday and keep repeating the schedule, I also give him a few pieces of collard greens...
How high up are her vines? If she falls at a distance she could break her brittle bones. If they are high up then I would suggest adjusting them to where she's not going to fall a large distance or fall on anything hard, maybe a towel at the bottom of her cage would give her a little cushion...
Lol yeah that's kinda what it looked like. Poor little guy is so miserable!! He's stretching, scratching and rubbing against his vines. I wish I could help him. Will a shower help?
It took me a while to figure it out too, don't feel stupid but you click on forums in the upper left corner beside home then click on which one best suits your question in the listing then click on start new thread or forum...
I already know this I rescued him from petsmart with mbd he doesn't have it bad, I have taken him to the vet he is on the highest liquid calcium possible, d3 twice a month although I've only had him 2-3 weeks so I've given it to him once so far, multivitamin twice a month only been given it...
Hello, this is probably a dumb question but I'm a new veiled mom and I worry about him all the time  I noticed his feet looked different, like a little cut in the skin, see in picture, is this him shedding? I'm sure it is but I just want to make sure. I've only had him 2-3 weeks, he's...
Hi, I'm not sure about his eyes as I am a new veiled mom and still learning things everyday but I do know that mealworms are unhealthy for your chameleon, you should only use them as a treat. He should be eating crickets, Dubia roaches and Phoenix worms as a daily feeding, mealworms, wax worms...
Great!!! Thank you so much!! Also can I use this on live and fake plants and vines in his cage? If so, I should clean them with the windex and Lysol then rinse well with water, correct?
Hello, I need some help/advice on what to clean my veiled chameleon's cage with. I normally just get his poop up as soon as he goes and use really hot water and paper towels to clean his cage, although I've only had him for 2 1/2 weeks, but I would like to use something that will help kill any...
Yea I was showed how to do that by my vet too but he really hates it, it stresses him out really bad so I try not to but I didn't think about when he opens his mouth, he rarely gets too hot , just when I take him outside but I'll try taking him out when it's time to give it to him tomorrow and...
Great thank you so much for the information, I'm going to order some online now and give it a shot. Can I add you as a friend in case I have a question?
Here's another pic of him, as you can see he's not really that bad, he's doing much much better since I got him, when he sits low on his vines you can see it better.
I have asked this before but never got a answer. I need help with giving my veiled liquid calcium. He's been on it for 8 or 9 days, got it from the vet, it's called neocalglucon syrup and I give him 0.05 ml. everyday, he is around 3 months old, I think. Everyday I have to sit with him for 20...
