Update: it’s been almost a month since she was supposed to lay. She is still eating and drinking but yesterday I noticed she wasn’t as active as she normally is and just stayed in the spot she sleeps in but she wasn’t sleeping during the day. Today she is doing the same thing but she ate and I...
When In her cage she’s usually a very dark green with not much of any other color. Once I got her out she lightened up and became that color, and then when I went to weigh her (118 grams) she saw herself in the mirror probably thinking it was another chameleon and turned to the typical Gravid...
She’s just as active as she’s always been, she’s always just usually basking or climbing/sitting on her stick under her UV. She’s done that ever since I’ve had her. I’ll get her out and post some pics tho.
Update: its been 35 days since she last mated, and at least 50 since the first time she mated. She’s still eating and not showing any signs of wanting to lay. She’s healthy, I’m just curious as to why she hasn’t laid yet as it seems most chameleons do it in 30 days max.

I’ve learned she’s knows when to mate and when not to. The first two times she mated within 30 seconds of the male going in her cage, the next time she got very mad instantly upon seeing him
Sounds good. When should I cover up her cage? She’s not really in a high traffic area as I’m usually the only one in there but I don’t want her to be disturbed while laying. And do I need to cover all of it or just the bottom half?
No it’s hard to see but I have wallpaper stuff from the petstore that blocks their view of each other. She’s pretty fat and I don’t want her to lay too many eggs for health reasons so I lowered her temps.
When do you think she will lay? I’ve read it’s 4 weeks/30 days but she’s still eating normal and behaving normal and it’ll be 30 days since they last breed tmr and like 6 weeks since the first time
