Okay this is basically a follow on from my previous thread (Help---she won't dig!) but it got a bit deserted on there. She has a tummy full of eggs and gas had an X-ray at the vets. She's very fat!!! She just drank a load of water with liquid calcium in but wouldn't eat...she's going in her...

She's back in the main tank while I sort this one out. Drinking liquid calcium dialuted in water, but not eaten yet...

Wow, thanks! But I don't have a webcam that extends off my laptop because its built in....is there anything else I could do? She is in a large binary the moment with a towel over the top over the canopy....so are you saying I should take put the sticks and artificial plant, admire garden soil...

I agree with this....surgery can be very dangerous and could cause problems....this should be a last resort. Do what I'm doing - keep in contact with the vet and just check your chameleon when she is sleeping so not to interrupt her. They will usually do the deed when the time is right and they...

Wow, that x ray really makes the eggs stand out! Are they fertile? Because after research I have found out that infertile eggs are smaller and easier on the body than fertile ones...hope this helps! Ps. I'm in the same situation, but I'm not taking my girl in for surgery yet. Good luck! :-)

Yeah, I know how you feel. Stickypads tummy has gone a bit AAHH with the weight of the eggs....poor baby girl! She must be due soon. Good to hear she's not the only one though. I will go to your forum now. :-)

Yeah, I know. Poor girl. But everything is looking up and age might be thinking about it! For all we know, she could be digging/laying as we speak! Hege well thats a nice thought :-)

I think next time I will put a large plant in a new tank - it seems she may be more comfy there.

Wow 2 months! It's been about 1 month for mine....last night she slept with her back feet on the sand instead of being up her twig.....that's about it

okay...thanks. I think I will buy a new tank next time she has eggs or rearrange her current one so the laying bin is a plant pot in her tank. It may be more comfy than a big dustbin, and she might feel more at home ;) I will just be patient! I have a feeling they may be infertile, but her...

Okay I checked her while she was still asleep and it looks like all her tummy is thin at the top and enormous at the bottom! I have attached a pic. Is she almost ready?

yeah, it is! I don't know what shes up to...I will check tonight when she is sleeping and update. I doubt she has made progress but there's always hope! How long should I give her before seeing the vets again?
