thanks, i will ask the vet when we go on friday just in case..
I live in the uk, in britain....
if anyone knows where I could get a big tank at a knock-off price then let me know :)
but i can only afford 1 tank at the moment, and I already have 2 canopys and 2 heat mats......how about a 4 foot tank?
or should I go to our local pet shop and see how much the largest tank is?
what if i got a larger tank? there is 3 basking spots, btw....
and I found someone who might be willing to swap a 4ft tank for mine, they need a smaller one...
Okay, as most people on the forum know, my chameleon stickypad has to have a caesarean on Friday and she basically has to be spayed...
I already have the incubator for breeding so I don't want to waste money...
I em want to buy another girl to be friends with stickypad and breed at 15 months...
We booked the caesarean for friday because the vet said basically...those eggs aren't coming out.
He said he could feel them!
So caesarean on Friday
Pick her up on Saturday or Friday night
Then get her stiches out in 6 weeks.
£150...worth every penny
Just wondering, will they probably...
Thank you for all the replies, you have all helped a lot...
So here are some answers:
1. She deffinatly has eggs, someone pointed out the xray is on page 5
2. I have never heard about reabsorbing eggs...could someone inform me?
3. She doesn't actually look unwell!
4. When we place her on...
Don't worry about it :P
So opinions please:
We were thinking about asking her vet if we can give her 1 more week, maybe with more medication or a higher dose of calcium, because she is supposed to have her Caesarean on Friday...
What do you lot think? :)
Thanks for all the help
I just wiggled some apple in front of her and she finally took a bite! Only about 1.5cm of a slice but hey, it's still vitamins! I left the rest inside her tank :)
As you know, stickypad won't lay her eggs
She just had an appointment at the vets and the vet said she should get a variety of veg...
I give her a drop of liquid vitamin every day... Buy how do I get her to actually eat veg?
Her food is gut loaded with apple and lettuce usually :-)
Okay...
Went to the vets, and the vet said she has weak feet. Every day, I now have to give her 2 syringes of water and 1 of calcium for a week and then it's a caesarean. One step at a time!
