Hi,
No we can't really get butterworms. Silkworms are a challenge to get but she has had them this week, along with crickets, locusts and Dubia roaches. And she gets the odd wax worm.
I really hope it's just a bruise that will clear up.
Hi everyone,
Long time no speak. Can you please take a look at this picture of Tilly. I noticed this dark patch this morning and now I'm a little worried. I didn't notice this last night. She's eating and moving fine, everything else with her seems perfectly normal. She managed to suck...
Hey,
Yeh that's the one I've got. Was just making sure if the same applied to chamelions. But there's also of fruit and veg not on there which I wonder about.
I know we've probably gone through this millions of times before but just to clarify lol. My chameleon likes her food live and not live so she will basically eat anything you give her. I've always got left over fruit and veg and would love to give it to her but I'm never quite sure what she...
I actually feel like such a bad person lol. I keep seeing that face and man I hate to see her like that. She really is the most beutiful thing. She's walking around now and she's uncurled her tail and curled it back up. Man I was scared. I'll still keep an eye on it though.
Thanks maybe I just panicked. I didn't know until she got super pissed and I thought what the hell then I saw. I'll try and get a picture but she hates the camera so much and just want to leave her alone now
Yes it looks completely normal. The dorr wasn't completely shut I opened it as soon as I realised. Maybe I'm overreacting but she's my world :-(
She's fine now normal colour everything
Please help, I've just accidentally trapped my chameleon Tilly's tail in the tank door and she got really stressed. It was totally accidental and I feel absolutly terrible. She seems ok now she curled it up and ran to the top of her tank but do you think it will be ok. Doesn't look bruised...
Male IMHO. I brought a baby male from very young, turned out she was female. A lot of stress and hassle. Don't get me wrong she's the best thing and she's doing great but it's a lot more hassle than a male :-(
It's funny you should say that, as this is normal behaviour right? Well everyone says to me you'll know...her appetite will slow down etc. So not the case with Tilly. When he's ready to lay eggs, her appetite doesn't slow down at all, her mood doesn't change. In fact nothing really changes...
Oh right, well Kale will be a treat now then! She mainly has squash, different type of lettuce, sweet potato and dandelions occaisionally :-) They love the dendelions
Hey,
I am thinking about breeding crickets, but have a bit of a stupid question. Once the eggs are laid in the sand, do I need to keep the container air tight, because that's what I've read a lot but I'm unsure!?!?
Thanks everyone. It doesn't deter me but I'm going to wait a little while, I feel bad getting more so soon after him. Kind of feels like I'm just replacing him. I know I only knew him 3 days but I became attached and he became a little part of the family, especially trying to see him through...
