Hey again,
Tilly has not laid since the Oxytocin I don't think she's even attempted too. But she is doing better she looks a lot better in herself and she's now sitting instead of hanging! I'm hoping that she lays today now she has got rid of her constipation!
Ok well that's a good start because the vet did say she seemed constipated and that could be her reason for having trouble with the eggs. Could the Oxytocin have loosened this up for her? I hope so and then hopefully the eggs may follow. Fingers crossed...
I have towells up at the tank at...
This is the picture of Tilly's poop thing. I'm sorry to have to post it but do you think this is just a poop? Or a mangled egg type thing?
She pooped out all of this including the dark bit.
He tried to take blood but couldn't get any but gave her extra calcium anyway. On the way home she did a wierd poop it was hard bit very yellow instead of brown but lots of white. I wondered if it was possibly an egg. Gross I know but I took a pic ill upload in a mo!
Tilly used to be a right hisser. She got mad at everyone and everything and now she's gorgeous! And super nice a lot of the time. She can still have he moment's but don't we all!
My god it's horrible when these things happen. Hate to see her in pain, and it's so difficult to work around the vets / works etc! But hopefully she'll come through ok...
Hi guys,
Instead of clogging up my previous threat 'possible bruise', I've created a new one. The vet has just called and Tilly is ready to go home (thank heavens). It turned out that it was the eggs causing her slight weakness. I can't understand it because she's always laid fine and...
How old is she? It's possible that this may be an option my my Tilly. It's obviously a last option but the vet is worried about her egg laying ability nowadays
Latest update...
Hello again. Right so Tilly went to the vets and he wanted to keep her in. He's not sure if she has fell or what is explaining the weakness but said she did look rather fat on the back end which I also thought but she has got a laying bin which she never hesitates to use...
Sure I'll keep you updated with the news. Hopefully good!!
Starting to worry if it's the eggs thats causing the problem, she's rather eggy but not interested in the bucket which is very unusual.
I cannot find a particular threat but I know there's alot of various answers around this question. But if you have a healthy cham, how old do they generally live for. I know this differs between male and female but does it differ between species also? Just wondering really.
Thanks Lovereps. I'm really worried, she must be in some pain by the way she's hanging, think that's the most comfortable spot for her. Just moved her into a better sleeping position as I'm worried she's going to fall and she got rather hissy which is unusual because her temperament has grown...
Hi guys,
Just an update, I got home and Tilly wasn't doing as great as I'd like. Her grip is relatively good but seems to have weekened a little. She is also just hanging from her vines rather that perching on top and shes moving and walking ok but a little slower. Managed to get her a vet...
