Apparently ladybugs are harmful to chameleons. My chams will ignore them but I'm not sure if all chams will. Also, if you use ladybugs to contain an infestation, you may end up with an infestation of ladybugs instead, or if not both insects.
Also, I don't want to sound preachy but, you should not have waited 7-10 days to look for help. Sorry, I had to say it -=T. I hope everything turns out well for you and your chameleon.
Chameleons are a lot of work. They need misting multiple times a day, can be finicky eaters and drinkers, and feeders will cost you lots of money. They also require lots of space, and privacy. If you want an animal to hold and play with, you might want to get a bearded dragon, as many chameleons...
