At my middle school we get to in our semester of art do a project with clay. We have a lot of freedom on what we get to make so I made a chemeloen flower pot/ catch all. It turned out a LOT better than what I was expecting I don't know how I did it. :D
As long as the plants are nontoxic let her chew on them. Every time a new leaf unfolds on my pothos plant my girl eats it. Ownly take them out it the plant is absolutely destroyed and needs a chance to grow back.
You NEED to put branches all the way up to about 8-10 inches below the heat lamp. Right now it will barely if at all affect her temp. She needs a lot more space to roam and thermoregulate.
It seems all veilds go through a fairly sudden personality change and get meaner at some point. This is most likely just that point. A pic. If her and of her cage would by helpful to tell if it is something else.
When I had a dark green fake tree in my Chams cage she often turned darker green but bright at night. The area around the cage and things in the cage could be affecting her color a little bit.
Yes I do. I just had to do homework for like 2 hours so I left her alone till now and she is digging again. I will block the spot with a rock or something and hope she gives up on whatever she is doing before she starts pulling claws or anything.
I am worried about Randall,( She is a girl with a boy name). She has been acting very out of the ordinary for the past few days and I have no clue why. She got reseptive colors ,I started feeding her one cricket less, and the biggest temp drops all started a while before this so I don't think...
I have read that a veild can be almost 2 years old before they can start to lay. But I do believe this is pretty rare, my Cham is maybe 8 months and has reseptive(think that is the right word) colors, she will lay her first clutch soon. Just keep your eyes out for the colors and on the rare...
Her shedding as she is about to lay eggs is just a coincidence I am pretty sure. Nothing out of the ordinary. She would not turn a different color pattern because she was about to shed.
I picture of the Cham could help. For him not eating it could be that he is going on hunger strike because of boredom of the same food or something more serious, I don't know a lot about the subject. Has he been on the floor long, at lease some of his stress is from you towering over him...
I personally spray first but it does not really matter unless you soak the enclosure top to bottom enough to wash the calcium off the crickets or whatever else. I would not really worry about it.
Is the cage on a table? If it is I would say you fine. As long as he can be a few feet above the little guys head and has places to hide I would not worry about him him getting very stressed.
So it's my thirteenth b-day today. Every birthday my mom makes a cake that is shaped like something we call it "the cake challenge." This year I did not know what I wanted so my mom made a chameleon and I thought you guys might want to see it.
Also I think Randall is starting to get...
I don't think a veild would stop eating because she was gravid. I know some chams can go on hunger strikes but I am unsure of the cause. I can't tell if she is gravid from that pic, could you post a pic of her sleeping maybe (not puffed up and showing stressed colors) and a pic of her whole cage.
Mine is in a corner so it won't look exactly the same. Also the string won't show up in the pic that well, at least on my screen, but you can guess where it is.
