I keep mine in screen cages in the greenhouse now (high humidity always) with no substrate. I do however use hibiscus plants that are potted and provide some dirt. When I had them inside, they went in a glass terrarium (I believe that it was made by Zoo Med) that measured 18x18x24 and I did not...
I have been trying to get a couple pairs for a breeding project. I currently have two males (the females died) and am looking for some females. My experience is that 99% of them are wild caught and by the time that the consumer gets them they are half dead (even if they come from a respectful...
I use sterilite tubs. The sides are to slick for the littles guys to climb up. You can also put a layer a clear shipping tape across the top or they make some stuff called bug stop (or at least I think that is what it is called) that you spread around the rim
Yeah. They power my louvered fan and my evap cooler. I have 4 more monocrystalline solar panels just outside of the pic that powers my other 3 GH's. Also the top panels are solacryl panels from spartech. They are designed for the use with vitamin D required animals.

I have 28 crested right now. All adults. They are one of my favorite gecko species all around. Easy to care for and have great tempers (at least most of them).
Dr. Ivan Alfonso from Kirkman Area Vet is a great vet and specializes in chameleons. He is located in orlando (a little drive but worth it) and is the best when it comes to chameleons.
I use both but I would recommend the metal (aluminum) screen mainly because it is a lot more durable. The mesh cages uses zippers and the zippers break and the mesh can burn if a heat source touches it (although it should not be that close) and the PVC frame can crack. The aluminum cages seen to...
I have purchased a couple things from them. Almost everything they have is imported and has parasites. I have not bought any chameleons from them but I have purchased some tortoises. I had to deworm them and hydrate them. I would say they are about the same as most importers/wild caught dealers.
