And if your not seeing any discharge from his eye just do the saline solution a couple times a day. Try to avoid using a q tip as the skin on the eye turret is really sensitive and sometimes will need a shed or two before the eye turret looks right again.
From the pictures it could possibly be an eye infection. Check with your local vet and try to get poly b sulfate or gentamicin. I would also flush his eye out with saline solution a couple times a day. You will need to get a syringe with a needle. Break the needle tip off so that a little bit of...
Introducing my first hatched ambilobe chameleon. This has really been 2 years in the making. I'm up to currently 22 panther chameleons and 4 different locales. I have 2 rooms dedicated to this. First room has most my breeders. Second room is my hatchling room where I'm raising them in...
Return the fogger as you'll find it almost useless. You can always buy a cheap humidifier later on. Here's a link to a nice misting system that's 99.95 which isn't much more then the fogger. http://www.mistking.com/Starter-Misting-System-MKMSN.html
Looks great. I would bump that up to a 75 watt bulb. And go with a misting system such as a misking. Get the cheapest kit they make and it will run plenty of cages if any upgrades in the future. How will you be draining water and will you be using a drip system? Setup looks great btw!
Get the hanging pots if you didn't already buy the pothos in one. It has a hanger on it. Just zip tie the top of the screen to the hanger. This will allow the pothos to grow off the side of the pot and down into the cage. I would also recommend a 6500k grow bulb to really let it grow.
Mine do it all the time with their misting system. Water collects on the screen and they will launch for it. I've even had one male launch his tongue at an opposing male!
About $500 to $1000 a year. Alot of it is spent on cleaning chemicals and just having the basic stuff one would need on my situation. I have 20+ active breeders at the moment so it's a lot to keep up with.
