Have any of you read what contributes to the sex of offspring?
Many reptiles are based on tempurature. Snakes for the most part are not......at least not that Ive seen as I incubate at room temp.
Are chameleons the same way or like turtles and aligators and use temp to determine sex?

I pay 5 bucks for 100 plus crickets.............2 weekers at that.
I decided that since Im going to have at least four chameleons here soon enough.....I may as well breed my own.
Ive seen some stuff in pics that looks like twirling bamboo or vine that had hardened into "wood" instead of being pliable.
Anyone know what that stuff is? I could easily get my family in georgia to send me some vine if I knew they had the right stuff.
Thanks for the tips so far!

Im getting closer to having my new cages up and ready to go. I see alot of you all dont care for fake stuff...........so tell me, besides the plant in the center and possibly having a couple pieces of driftwood and ivy growing in the enclosure...............what kind of climbing and pathway...

If its rusting, you got jipped.

Im going a bit different on my route. Im going to use 1X2 aspen furring strips and 3/8" birch plywood and aluminum (charcoal in color) screen for my first ones.
So far I have about 140 bucks in materials and I didnt think about the shower board for the bottom, good idea and...
In a pinch I found that commercial fish food and flake is readily eaten by crickets...........I mean they burn through it.
I figured that if I can feed it to my fish to get them as healthy as possible it cant hurt my crickets.........
This was for some domestic toads I saved off the side...
Oh I guess I should also say, Im going to be building my own cages while waiting........any plans or really good pics?
I saw a couple pics of you guys stuff. Id love to see more.
Im a newb to the forum and the breed. I just finished selling off 95% of my adult breeder snakes and because I dont have the time to breed and take care of so many animals, I decided to get into Chameleons.
Ive been interested for so long now that I just jumped in with both feet. I purchased...
