Nope considering a visit this week. Gonna ring the vet near me to see if they have chameleon experience. Finding the right vet is gonna be the challenge
Right, Im not sure if shes carrying eggs as never laid before. Was presumed male up until recently. Her behaviour just changed after the last she when she started showing receptive colours never shown before then
To be honest she use to run to the door for a silk worm and wax worm but now as soon as i open the door she puffs up and rocks.
Could a sickness of some kind be causing this or is it because ive got a teenage angry girl that wants to mate?
Ive tried silkworms, calcis waxworms crickets supetworms and wax moths which she would eat before and she wont touch now so I dont think its boredom as I have constantly rotated. The other 2 worms above ive not come across in uk stores.
How long can she go on only eatting 1 hopper a day as im worried shes under eatting.
I know its normal to stop eatting during laying but this has been 2 weeks of only 7 3rd gen hoppers a week so not even that big. Was feeding every other day before but i dare not do that now as she still wont...
Yep 15 inches deep.....had play sand in for a week and didnt seem interested so i changed for dirt and is more interested in live plant plantpot but no digging.
Felt her sides and cant feel or see eggs.
I thought d3 calcium plus should be used every other week on normal feeding so as to not...

Handling - Only ever twice in my care-she is very afraid...
Hi guys.
So my cham now will only eat 1 hopper a day for 2 weeks. Use to hand feed but now puffs up and rocks if we attempt to now so cup feeding. Wont touch any other food that she would before.
Set up the same as a contained within here
Looks normal puffed up but starting to look skinny...
These 2 pictures show at the end of the last shed where the little patch got stuck. That was 2nd nov. Looked like normal shed so didn't think anything of it until it came off.
No, not swollen, it just looks like the bottom of the ridge on the left side has been sanded down smoothish or the scales fell off with an prolonged shed just in that spot, whereas before the right matched the left as much as it could, with a pronounced ridge. That's why i wondered if they could...
