My guy would eat dirt everyday up until about 6 or 7 months old. I don't think it's something to worry about unless there are artificial fertilizers or big chunks of vermiculite. He's 10 months now without any problems. I hypothesis they do this to develop their immune system and pick up trace...

Seriously, the chameleon community has got to figure out how to captive breed Parson's predictably! Just stunning creatures. I know next to nothing about breeding, and they do seem more complicated to keep, but I dream of a day when they are as available as Panthers. I'll take two please :)

they are very small white bugs, probably 1/25th the size of the phoenix worms...the smell is not a good one either. It smells like death. Anyway, I'm bummed, they aren't cheap

Hey, Had 400 phoenix worms stored at room temp. They all have maggots now. What did I do wrong? just kept the tops on...not really sure how a fly landed in there and laid eggs...weird. Anyone else had this problem?
