I've used mistking stuff for years in a garden to mist plants with. I have 1 with 125' of tubing on it. No loss of pressure. They do have stronger pumps to run more mist heads. I use all of there pumps. The biggest issues are clogged mist heads. I use RO water to keep them clean it also...

All the largest Silkies are in a medium bin with everything they need to spin. They will stay there from now on. What is that black plastic stuff called?
There all as big as the pics shown in other threads mentioned here. Info in those threads say 2-3" is when they go to spin bins. So unless im reading that wrong im good on size. They are all in the same bin. I made a few changes I put there spin tubes on there sides and put in chow. So when...
That def helps.. I had no clue eggs had to be stored in the fridge for 2 months. The directions on the 1st egg batch I got said to grate the chow. The only way to do that is with dry chow. I think that caused some babies to die.
I couldn't find a thread that discusses breeding silkies from worm to egg. This is what I have done so far.
I cut a few paper towel tubes into 2" pieces.
I glued a piece of paper towel onto one end
I picked out the largest silkworms I had, Most where over 2" long. Ares cant eat them that...
I got my next Cricket order from the Cricket ranch here in Cali. This time I got 1000 3/4". I got my order in 2 days, it was on my porch at 7am. . That def helps with it so hot right now.
I had to find a better way to transfer crickets from the box to the smaller 10g containers.
I got a 25g...
So I wont need to grate the chow as the directions indicate?. Its much easier to put down wet chow. I used an old coffee grinder on some dry chow to make powdered chow. Works good. Also the chow comes in powder form is that not usable?
I checked on the Silkworm eggs and found a good amount had hatched. I have chow but its not dry so I put some small pieces near most of the babies.. I took a chunk of chow out and will let it dry so I can grate it. If anyone has any suggestion how to keep them alive please post.
Watching the behavior of Silkworms is interesting. They can def tell when Ares is near. They stand up perfectly still. I Assume to make themselves look larger?. Silks look like the larval stage of Mothera lol.
I got some eggs to try that. I'm not very confident I can hatch them properly. They have been in the petri dish for a few days now. Temps are hot here that should speed up things. I dont see anything happening yet. I will try my best.
85g reef tank .. I spent years building this tank. Its a huge undertaking/Commitment. Major $$ to a tank setup like this. When I moved back to Cali I had to part with it. It wasn't possible to get it back here without major loss of life. I miss my tank allot.
I got the Silkworms today.. All of them are alive. I got a total of 85. Very good deal from this guy. Price I paid for my 1st order of 30 was more than I paid for 85. This is the guy I used if anyone is interested. I picked 75 1" silkies. Most where larger than 1". I'm OK with that...
How often does everyone use them Silkworms ?. My 1st order was 30 small. I did a good job keeping them alive and growing into large size. They where not cheap. I found a place in Vegas that has a good deal for 75 mediums for $22. I got them coming today. So far crickets have been a PITA to...
