Is he cup feeding? Does he get free range crickets?, being such a small little guy he may have been chewed on a little at night while asleep. Its not uncommon with all age chameleons, sometimes free range crickets turn the tables and become vampires of the night :p ..sounds silly. Just another...
well...hmm, not your lighting/schedule. Sounds like your right on the money for a young cham. I would stick to the misting like you have been. You may need to give it a day or two more to see if anything changes, however, if it stays awhile..the dreaded vet visit may be in the making.

You are welcome :) I would be interested in what uvb bulbs you are using, light schedules etc, ambient and basking temps. Sometimes lighting has a bit to do with eyes staying closed. The list goes on, from a scratch, stuck shed, etc
He doesn't appear to be in a horrible stage of MBD, but he certainly does have some of the signatures. He looks like with a little adjustments to his feeding and ensuring he gets his supplements, he can probably rebound to live a pretty normal life. One things for sure, that sunlight will do...
He may be discomforted by the spraying, but just make sure you use hot/warm water, and put it to him. It may seem mean at the time, but it will be very beneficial for him

Its not unlikely that she may have got something in it, brushed it against something that scratched or poked it. Try showering for a good amount of time, or heavy misting.
