WOW!!! Your chams look awesome!! Wayne, your enclosure is beyond amazing! And my jaw hit the floor when I saw Bentley! His stripes are remarkably cool! Thanks for those pictures guys :D I encourage others to post more if they can :)
Hey there everyone :), I'm just posting to see if anyone here is the proud owner of a parson's chameleon? I've seen countless pictures of all your guys' beautiful chams here on the forums and they never cease to amaze me. If possible, I would LOVE to see a picture of a parson's chameleon if...
I'd have to agree that it's female. My reasoning would be that she has a fairly thin tail and you can see the indentation at the base right before the vent. Males don't have that indentation and also have a hemipenal bulge at the tail base.
Yeah, he did eat a lot before he went on his little hunger strike lol. It was my first time feeding him waxworms and he seemed to love them, so I gave him six of them in a row. I'm thinking that he may have just been really full (but for 4 days???). I hope he continues eating normally from...
I see. Then you may be right. I'll be sure to watch him closely and mist more often if he begins to shed :) Good news today though! My little buddy finally ate again. I hand fed him a few small crickets this morning and everything is seemingly normal (for now at least). I appreciate everyone's...
How often to baby panthers shed? I ask because he just shed between 2-3 weeks ago so I don't think it's that, but I could be wrong. The last time he shed he didn't refuse to eat though, which is why it strikes me as odd that he refuses to eat now.
Well, yesterday I was gone all morning and didn't get home until the afternoon. Before I left he was just lying down on a branch, and when I got home he was in the exact same spot as if he hadn't moved the entire time. Luckily he's been more active today. He's been exploring his enclosure and...
To be honest, I'm no expert lol As a matter of fact, I posted a thread myself not too long ago asking people to help determine the sex my own chameleon. But based on what I know, I'd say it looks male because of the vibrant colors it's already showing at this age, and also because of the lack of...
So here are some pics of my little guy whom I've named Yoshi :D
Today has been somewhat successful since he's finally eaten again, but only 2 small crickets :(
Can chameleons be full for multiple days? I can't help but feel that I may have overfed him when I gave him six waxworms in one sitting..
My baby panther is also 3 months old and is already showing some nice coloration. For the most part, I'm pretty sure that his basic colors should be visible around 5 months. You should post a pic! :)
Unfortunately, no :(
I was gone all morning and when I got back home I found him laying down in the same spot he was before I left, and I noticed that his belly had a white coloration to it. I picked him up and let him wander around outside for a few minutes and now his coloration looks normal...
