if he likes it, he likes it. as long as hes not showing signs of dehydration or burns i'd think it's ok.
the only thing I could think of is if maybe you have a fan or vent close by that is blowing near the bottom of the cage
that's awesome that you figured it out. I don't think I ever would have made the connection. I would think chams would just eat any annoying insect/critter, so 1 tiny spider probably would never cross my mind.
speaking of this, lol...yesterday I had my new little guy crawling on me...he climbs on my shoulder, onto my ear, and perches on my glasses, as many of the young ones always do. but this guy had a surprise for me...he hung ol' glory off the side and plopped one right out on my chest! my first...
no im not turning on the lights...I grab my cell phone when I hear it and use the light off the screen to look in. there's nothing that should be waking them, they always seem to be in the same position, eyes closed
maybe it could be a sleep-sneeze, lol
I've noticed that my guy doesn't really care for the exo-terra multi...and by that I mean he refuses to touch anything that was even in the same cup...so i'm looking for a new multivitamin. thinking about rep-cal
suggestions?
I tried something like this for a while...looks great now, but I got a good suspicion that in about 2 weeks or so the plants and leaves toward the bottom are going to go into light shock and die. if too many of the leaves are affected the whole plant could die. if you bought those trees from...
ive got a 1 yr old male veiled that is a real ****, but I've found that if I spray him in the face with distilled water, it blinds him, he'll then let me pick him up with no problem. of course I don't just pop open the cage and start shooting him in the face. when I open the door, I hold out...
i'm pretty sure anything will work just as long as it stays moist and does not contain any pesticides. when you choose a soil, grab a handful, and make sure that it is soft and breaks into dust when dry. however, this wouldn't work with something that is compressed like eco-earth.
not many will die if you provide them with plenty of water and food. they will die pretty fast, almost seemingly overnight, if they run out of water. I use the water crystals that you get from pet shops enriched with calcium to help gutload
lol i fell asleep one day on the couch and found him on top of the blinds that go across the slinding back door. you can be sure theyll look for the tallest points in the room, so always check there first
i would definately recommend great stuff over this foam it 5. i've never used foam it 5, but from watching the video it looks like a bit more difficult to work with. also try going to lowe's/home depot and buying some the pink insulation foam from the lumber section. you can cut out rocks and...
i would say he probably just got nervous when you pulled away from the viv. getting on your hand might not have stressed him out, but when he saw you were taking him away from home and not knowing where he was going, probably freaked him
i have a 2 x 2 x 7. i've got a peach hibiscus that is about 3ft tall and a weeping willow that goes all the way to the top. also on the back i've got some trellice with confederate jasmine growing on the back. i've got a work light set up right above the hibiscus so it gets enough light. you...
Just like what he said. What qualifies different species is not whether or not they can have offspring, but if those offspring are still fertile. I.e. a donkey and a horse can make a mule but the mules can not reproduce independently
