I just saw these at the local pet store. They say they enhance your animals color. My guy is gray all the time, would this help? Anybody have any thoughts?
Thank you!
The problem is his casque is beginning to deform a little, and he never shows green coloration unless he is asleep or out of his enclosure.
here ya go.

Hey SoCaliSon, that microwave idea for heating the water works great. Now its like he comes out to play in the rain.
He's grown 3.3 grams since I got him, and is up to 14.4 g at 2.5 months!
Yes, I do hand mist. The water quality here blows, so I have to use bottled water. I haven't found a good way to heat the water yet. Have any suggestions?
This is my 2 month old male veiled that I got from Julirs. He has mastered dodging my camera, but I was finally able to get a few pictures. He is eating and drinking fine, and will rarely hide from me unless I am misting him (which he doesn't seem to like). Anyways enjoy the pics I worked hard...
There is no feeling quite like having to wait for a new cham to come in the mail is there? Will there be a breeding project in the future? I'm sure they will love there new home. Good luck with them.
I got my first chameleon today. He was bright green when I opened the box, but when I put him in his enclosure and misted him he obviously became stressed. He has been hanging out in the highest part in the corner of the enclosure. I've been trying to leave him alone so he can explore his new...
He is only 2 months old and 5-6 inches long head to tail. I have a 2'x2'x4' enclosure waiting for him when he is ready for a big boy cage. I lied he isn't a Juvi he is just a very healthy baby.
Here is my set up. I have had it up and running for about 3 weeks now and have worked out all the kinks with the basking temp. (85 F), ambient temp. (76 F ave.) and humidity (57% ave.). My juvenile veiled is coming on Friday and I just want to make sure his home is perfect for him. He has a...
I haven't done it myself but I understand that a cricket colony can become very noisy (chirping nonstop), smelly, and would need to be cleaned every other day at least to prevent deaths. Dubias roaches are easier to form a colony with but with your cham being small it may not be the best choice.
Very interesting. I have heard of tuataras before, but had no idea they had a lifespan of up to 200 years. It is always good to see rare/endangered animals that are finicky with breeding finally do the deed. Good article!
I am building a stand for my enclosure and i was wondering if the type of wood I used mattered? I know not to use cedar but was wondering if there were any others I should steer clear of.
