The wait begins on 73 Veiled Eggs

Yup agreed. I did 12, 10, and today 8, now I'll be skipping a day and back to her normal 6-8 depending on what I'm offering.

Quick response needed! Calcium question (senior help preferred :) )

Ratio wise, you're able to dust with that daily vs the 1-2 times monthly you dust with RepCal with D3. You can't blame the pet stores here. You wouldn't be over-supplementing by dusting with that daily. Daily with RepCal would be way too high though. This forum roughly tells people to dust...

The wait begins on 73 Veiled Eggs

That's what she's typically at (83-84 basking, 72-73 ambient). It was either hot for a bit or really cold. Which actually was probably more helpful to her while producing the clutch. She gets the same every other day, probably a total of 12-14 feedings a month. She'll have one more breeding...

The wait begins on 73 Veiled Eggs

It could have been heat and but I don't think it had much to do with that. We had the furnace off because it's May, and supposed to be decent out, so I had the reptile room closed. So for a week to 10 days it was sitting around 85 ambient and sub 100 basking. Furnace is back on now since it's...

    Pet Therapy

Is the retirement center in Orangeville? I may be able to help if it fits my schedule.

The wait begins on 73 Veiled Eggs

I hope they don't all hatch at the same time, but they will, I can already feel it lol  That's just one of the containers for them. Geez.

    feeding question.

    Quads in Canada

I believe Drew is working with them, not certain what his status is currently.

    d3 accident

Yup that's roughly 45k IU/Kg. It's 1/9th of the dose that is in RepCal brand. Daily usage should be fine.

    d3 accident

I actually think flukers has a low enough IU/Kg that you could use it daily without issue. Check the container, see what the IU/Kg reads at.

    d3 accident

I assume it's the RepCal with D3? If that's the case you've definitely been over supplementing the D3 recently and should cut back a bit. I've heard some info that we're really not giving out chams enough D3 with the typical schedule that is recommended here, so I doubt you did any major...

    Reptile Carpet

Pretty much pointless. It would work, but you're going to have to watch it at least every few days. Just use newspaper or paper towel, it's the easiest. Also, repticarpet makes it seem like your Cham is in a tank? :(

Why the heck would you bother to microchip a pastel?

    age guess?!

4-5 months, definitely older then 3.

    non living food options????

Just someone to ignore. Your best bet is to hand feed him as much as possible. One of my male veileds despite having a perfectly fine tongue will actually run after superworms if they fall on the bottom of the cage and eat them like any other lizard. He's weird like that.

    Hornworms, silkworms

You can feed either assuming they're appropriately sized (though, both silks and horns can likely be a bit larger without causing issues)

    Baby won't eat

They did, but it wasn't in the normal formatting. I have no idea how people browse sites link these on their phones, seems like a terribly annoying way to do it.

    Hornworms

You guys would be surprised how easy it is to hatch hornworms. It's definitely worth trying if you can get them cheap enough.

    Male Owners vs. Female Owners

There isn't a difference in caring for the reptiles (if there is I'm sure women are slightly more caring) but there is a significant difference in the percentage of men/women that do have reptiles as pets. The stereotype is alive and well I'm sorry to say, while more women are currently more...
