A few of my breeder males...

Nope, no morphs here! These are all pure local ambilobe's. I'm trying to get animals from all ends of the spectrum. I got into these guys because they have the most naturally occuring color variation! Some of these males are products of Screameleons, Kammerflage, Chameleon Paradise, FL Chams...

A few of my breeder males...

This guy is younger but I'm not sure how he's going to turn out. When he sheds fresh his red is amazing. He's got blue in his white line and when he really gets going his bars are bluish. Can't wait for a few more months! I wonder if he'll end up like the first one! John

    What would you have done?

I would of bought them. Many brokers have great names for themselves. Some breeders don't even sell to the public. Just because they didn't breed them doesn't mean they don't know how or have the knowledge. They may also provide great customer service. One must think about many things before...

    Parson's Chameleon

They are very interesting, I've had the pleasure of seeing a few in person. As far as shipping them from country to country good luck with that. It's very easily done but if caught you'll be going away for a long time. I've been offered animals from all over shipped here with fake paper work and...

    Must not be gravid?

Is she digging alot? Usually when they begin digging you can move her to a 5gallon bucket with some cover. They usually drop within a day or 2 from there. John

    Must not be gravid?

Sometimes although they look like they are breeding it's unsuccessful. I just watched one of my favorite males breed the females leg. He never made it to her vent! Pitty, I can't wait to get little ones from him. But he's only 6months old so he's still learning! If nothing comes of it, try...

    Smaller Females Breeding...

Well, I was wrong again. I decided to go through the bucket again looking for eggs. It was packed Real tight! The veiled eggs I've dug up have been very easy to find. All I had to do was gently push my finger in around the dirt and it would just sink in where she dug. This female packed it down...

    Trip to Florida for herpin.

I've found an adult male beardie, adult female argus monitor, a water monitor, and burms...those are probably the most exotic besides the veileds I've caught. Curly tails are running around everywhere also. John

    Smaller Females Breeding...

WOW, what has happened is exactly what I didn't want to happen. If we can back this down a notch that would be great as this thread is getting way to heated. I was wrong, the female digging was doing just that, digging. When I had her in my hands she fattened up and I thought I had felt...

    Smaller Females Breeding...

Ok, I think I got it. If anyone else replies try and stay on point, I knew this was going to be a touchy subject but I wanted to ask the questions so that I understand. I don't plan on breeding the young females but when the one little girl began digging I couldn't help but to wonder. Thanks...

    Smaller Females Breeding...

I understand that a little. BUT a human female wouldn't be producing anything unless impregnated. A chameleon female is going to produce no matter what. I just felt her belly because she hasn't stopped digging and she is surely going to lay some eggs. She is going to use her calcium for the...

    Smaller Females Breeding...

Just because they produce an infertile clutch doesn't mean that it wouldn't take a toll on them. I wonder how much more work it is to produce fertile eggs, I highly doubt it's much. That's what I'm getting at, why would it make a difference if they are already producing eggs as I know that's...

    Green Python Question

You quote good info that's for sure! One must still monitor and listen to their animals in order to keep them healthy. When I was feeding jumbo rats to one of the largest chondros I've ever seen that was a monthly meal. Seem like the forum your now on is helping alot, keep with it! I love these...

    Smaller Females Breeding...

OK so here's a question. One of my smallest female panthers, my guess around 30grams has begun digging. Let just say she's mature (she was pink). What's the difference between her laying an infertile vs. fertile clutch? I know in the wild that females breed MUCH younger then we practice in...

    its a sad sad day

They have no excuses not to win, they should win every year! They pay out enough to pay for 2 or 3 teams! Not a fan of the yanks though. John

    Morelia boeleni Color Change

Chris my contact in indo told me that I can have as many as I want come december...LOL if only it was that easy. It's a 5k min order and shipping, brokering, and wildlife fee's end up in the $1,500 range. I've already dumped all my money into this ambilobe panther project I currently have going...
