As requested :)
We usually don't name our rescues/fosters because we don't want to get too attached but we will be keeping this little lady so we named her Aeowyn (we have a celtic theme in the chams).
Here is quick vid of her climbing for the first time. She is getting around pretty...
another update
All is well here! She started her first shed with us today and is getting around much better. She is still eating very well and is trying to climb things. She will get x-rays done in about a month to monitor her bone density and check the healing in her fractures...

So it has been 2 weeks since we took little miss thing in, she is continuing to pig out, is able to move around much better and has put on a gram :) (14g now). She is still getting calcium glubionate and tramadol daily and as much natural sun as the weather permits. She will go...
Thanks for the encouraging story about your cham BocaJan! I am growing more attached to this little one with the huge spirit :) We spent time outside in the sun today (her first time ever), she wasn't very pleased at first but then settled down to sun bathe.

She was purchased from a chain pet store at 3 months old and lived with the same people for 5 months after that, we have had her for a few days. I almost cried when I saw her for the first time too!

Luckily she is shooting fine and her aim is dead on. She has eaten every day we have had her. Her appetite and feistyness are the big reasons for giving her some more time... I am starting to get pretty attached already too lol

Heya,
We are debating euthanasia, but she is still eating and has fight in her and we are controlling her pain so we decided to give her a little while. She did get a calcium injection and two vitamin D injections over about 2 weeks prior to us getting her. Now she is on calcium...

Female veiled, 8 months old, 3.5 inches (yes, correct units) nose to vent, 13 grams. Owners unable to care for so relinquished to us. The absolute worst case of nutritional secondary hyperparathyroidism (MBD) I have ever seen. She is being...
