D3 2 times per month
Use as many different insects as possible. Fruit flies , crickets, superworms, calciworms, silk worms hornworms, dubia roaches ect
Nicky wasn't the one suggesting free range, it was me, I forgot about the dog. But there are work arounds.
The supplement you have is a twice a month, you also need calcium without d3 and calcium with d3. Better study up on that Nicky.
My rudis never made it to the floor, but I'm not...
If the dog was in the room I would worry about that, but I'm sure the op has a door to shut the dog out. Also if it was high enough, or the dog was small enough it probably wouldn't be a problem.
Reading this back to myself it sounds disrespectful but I assure you it is not intended to be...
I understand your concern, but the pair I had thrived on the free range I had set up. My set up didn't allow the chams to get off as it was hung high from the ceiling with 50lb fishing line. The humidity was great with the frequent watering and humidifier shooting up at it. Also they enjoyed...
If it's the Rudis pictured, it looks good to me. Distortionz recommended the business and the owner by name, so he must have had a good experience with him.
Nicky remember lots of water, misting, cool enclosure good uv. I would really consider a couple hanging pothos as a home if you can...
In my mind RO water would be better, chams get they're water from rain and dew. No trace elements in rain or dew. This would lead me to believe that they accumulate what they need from prey items or vegetation depending on what species of cham. I welcome discussion on my opinion.

Nicky,
If you remember I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt many posts ago. I asked the others to take it easy on you, but then you started throwing fits and now you are going to have to earn respect by doing research and trying to answer your own questions. I think people would...
I had a pair of Rudis, about 10 or so years ago. These guys are great! Mine were housed in a huge pothos in a south window. They ate out of my hands and were very friendly.

Thanks for the advice. Would you put the salad in a feeding cup? I've tried hand feeding fruits and vegetables but no go. He takes the bugs out of my hand but does not want anything else.

My cham decided that he was only going to eat supers and I had to stop offering them for a while. It was like 4 days before he decided to eat anything else. Now I just randomly let him have a couple.

Hello Everyone,
I have a 8 month old veiled named Champ and I'm curious about his diet. Currently he's eating super worms, dubia roaches, crickets, and I've just started hatching silk worms. I gut load with sweet potato, greens, apples, oranges and whatever else I can come up with. The...
I would check the fixture for signs of overheating. Those bulbs run hot and I believe that they have an internal ballast making them even hotter. Look for things like burn marks and carbon trails.
