We've had some lovely weather here recently, so I decided it was time for Peanut and I to get some rays :D
She very much deserved it after producing a clutch of 'surprise' infertiles not so long before. She is doing great, eatting and drinking well.
She took to being outside much better...
The little boys tend to be slimmer and have a longer tail. They also display a stripey pattern.
The females are generally a little rounder and the ridges on their backs are smoother.
Hope this helps :)
Tommy really looks amazing, the colours he is throwing off there are great. I like his orange/brown rings on his arms.
I really want a boy :D
We must have been thinking the same thing earlier! I took Peanut outside for her first stretch in the sun. She took really well to it. She didnt try...
Lovely snaps Tiff
Amy does look much happier in the second snap :D
Did she do a full body shed or just her face?
Peanut has done her head, tail and back legs.... but i've been waiting for what seems forever for her front legs and body :(
It is really hot. Her temps need coming down.
Temperature plays a big part on egg production, someone else may be able to explain better but i would try and get it down to the low 80's :)
Congrats Mike
Good luck with the little eggs :D
I'm not gonna be much help unfortunately, i left mine where Mini laid them... i trust her ;) I envy you though, I wish i was in the position to be able to see them. Cant really check on them without causing a problem.
Mine have the yellow...
Oh Mike :(
Sad sad news! I'm sorry mate.
Well done on getting the eggs out of her. You knew they were in there. Good luck with them. Lets hope some of their mother's personality is in them :)
I wonder if having to harvest them will affect the time it takes for them to hatch?
I think if...
Wow, impressive little furry family :D
I was expecting little hairless pink things for the babies just hours old. I didnt realise the come out covered in hair and with their eyes open!
Good luck with them all :D
Your little ones look like they enjoyed their day :D
Depending on the weather tomorrow i plan to get Peanut out for some rays... i'll have some time to keep an eye on her :D
Peperomia, Desert Privet.
Would this be ok to use in my pygmy enclosure? Cant find any info on it really.
I know R.Brevs dont graze on veg matter but i was wondering if the flowering stalk thing on it was safe.
I found a good supplier of the plant and it looks nice and strong and should...
