Here's the easiest chameleons are veiled,Jackson's,panthers
Veileds are the easiest to keep but Jackson's are a close second.
Panthers are a harder but are not impossible for beginners.
Jackson's need lower temps and high humidity

Most of us use screen cages and no substarte cause its more of a pain then anything and watching for mold...
Hopefully someone else will help shade some light on this.
