I was asked to put together a caresheet for veterinarians to pass out to their clients. I realize several of you have put your own together or contributed to some in the forums.
Would someone here like to help out with this little project? When it's complete, I will post a PDF on my website...
"animals with optic nerves cut..." :( I wonder if they could have used an opaque (black) wax or something to close the eyeball and cover the turret instead of something permanent like that.
Thanks for posting. These are great to review.
I need to read the rest... but one comment... blind chameleons? And how was this achieved? Just a thought. My mind always goes there. Back in my 20s I was anti-vivisection until I couldn't stomach it (and the activists) any more.
Thanks for posting... now on to read the rest.
Get a cheap one at Walmart for $7 or invest in one of the expensive hygrometer with the remote sensors. I use both. The Walmart cheapies work great and most times show the same readings as my nicer hygrometer.
I can send you a couple of cultures today that are overproducing and I have way more baby feeders than I need right now. They cost me 3.50 each. This would help you until you found a source locally. Please email me or call me at 818-219-9315 if you need me to ship today.
Don't be surprised. Many people working at those stores love animals. The only problems you will ever run into are egos and people pointing fingers to other managers or employees. But if you approach them in a kind way, you can make progress together.
Thanks for showing how easy it can be...
Wow, I'm so sorry for missing this thread! Laurie, amazing work! Tuffy didn't do too bad either!
I love seeing the babies. Makes me all warm and fuzzy. :o
Anyone in and around the Woodland Hills area (Los Angeles, CA) who needs pinhead crickets, I have a bunch here. Way more than I can use. For a small donation to ChamEO, you can have as many as you need (within reason!).
Please make a point to correct the set-up or to provide good information to them so they can set them up properly. If the animals die, they don't make any money. It's a complete loss. Please try.
