I have done both, I prefer to cup feed so I can count what they my Chams eat. I use a small deli cup or rinsed out sour cream cup, I cut a large diameter circle on the bottom and hot glue screen to it. I either attach it to the cage or to a branch using line. best is the stuff you use for tying...

Years ago, we used to use a small piece of No Pest Strips, the yellow ones that go into the cardboard holder. Again only use a small piece, cut about an inch and should be good.

The people at Mulberry Farms are great. I picked up their horn worm special and butter worms. They recommended UPS ground shipping and I would get the next day.
