feeders come from pj's pets...........they come in a tub with water gel and food, and i dump them into my own container and gutload and keep it clean.
we threw everything away that belonged to Jack, didnt want to risk any new chams getting coccidia. at the time, we didnt have any other chams.

yes we are using a feeding cup, its the only time he willingly comes anywhere near us, and even then, if he sees a finger near the cup, he either tries to bite it, or runs away and forgets about the crickets................i am going to try your approach though, over the next few weeks, because...
so thats it then...........he could just be this mean forever? it just seems almost sad to see him, he's constantly on edge, even when the cage is closed, like he's always looking out for something :(
well, it finally happened. we have the meanest cham ive ever seen................we've owned three chams in our lives ; two male veileds and a male panther.............and now we have another male veiled, Bruce. HE HATES US. like a lot. he is so young, and scared of EVERYTHING, not anything like...
so, i think he's doing well..............but he spends the majority of his time under the heat lamp.........is this ok? is he supposed to wander more? Jack was a real wanderer, all over the cage.............is it too cold in the cage? or does he just like to sun? temp is around 90 in the basking...
were there lights on when you looked at him? sometimes when i peek at my guys, they open their eyes as soon as they see the light from the room..............
no he is in a fairly small cage at the moment, but he is in our room and the temps get kind of on the chilly side, but the thermometer is reading 70 ambient temp.......
