i thought i was doing everything right- lucky enough i cam across this site a the correct time and it almost literally saved Rafiki's life

he drinks... but he does not mind being handled.. when i put my hand in he immediately reaches for my fingers- the past few day he was doing it was ease! today i guess he just was not at ALL in the mood b/c he would not open his mouth of what we could get in he spat out lol it was act quite...

i have! i dust everything- he sometimes spits out the worms but he gets all the dust so i feel better then :P

ha i think he is just tired of us trying o force feed him... he seems like he is ding better he is climbing around now much more than b4

So recently my chameleon went in to the vet b/c he has MBD... is been about a week now that he has been home and i have been giving him his shots and meds- i have to force feed him some liquid food but today he was not having it! he just spat it all out and trying to give him worms he just spat...

when i bought mine from petsmat they told me i need a 10 gal fish tank...so like an idiot i bought it and hade it for maybe a month AT MOST!!!! i learnt that they stress when they see their reflection and my veiled would fly out as soon as i opened it! i felt so heart sore to see him like that...

i do cup feed -2 types of worms in the cup - crickets lose in the cage then also...now and then being hand fed- i just like to see him eating to make me feel better:rolleyes:

what if they like to be hand fed?

i know what you mean! i got mine from petsmart and got led the total opposite way! leading to the problems i have now with mine almost dying! i hope they will soon take the steps in the right direction so people who do purchase a cham will know the correct way to raise on from the beginning.

yes- one he finishes h all the meds i will be changing his food like trying silk worms and a new way of gut loading- what is the best way?

it is being worked on - i have to give him a calcium fluid eveyday

i see Praying mantis listed as a treat food? that would be then for when he is much older right? the distance between his eyes is very tiny:D

if i dust the mealworms.. thats better for him? i have calcium w/ Vit-D powder... if i dust them to much or to often will that will be worse?

why do i have to prick the Phoenix worms?

lol he sleeps if there is a shadow on his face. was just curious b/c my lights turn off at 9 and he was sleeping w/ the florescent bulb still on... after this i just want to make sure he gets all he needs
