yo A rd and B rd in labelle got chameleons. Also if you're willing to drive a couple hours you can go to the "robert is here" fruit stand in homestead. Ft myers has a decent population too. Theres a spot in Krome Ave, but i dont know the specifics. Sarasota seems to have a pantherchameleon spot...
ive been looking for 5 years. i still havent found any though lol. im not allowed to travel far. im too young to drive. the best i could do is ask people and look online.i waiting untill the day i get a car to do a road trip to homestead!
hello, sorry to raise the dead here, but i have the same issue and this is the closest thing i could find to my problem. i was just wondering if there is any treatment and if your chameleon ended up dead? or if you needed to go to the vet or if he was totally fine. im incredibly worried rn.
thanks.
i know this is 4 years old, but i thought it was worth a shot. i have been looking to find wild chameleons in florida for a long time, and i heard there was a population in orlando. So when i found this threadi thought i could find some.
It’s probably fine. But it might have some parasites from being outside for too long. Also we get a lot less rain here so it’s also probably dehydrated.
there is one population that has only recently been completely wiped out, but it has survived for over 8 years. its true that some may not survive, but others do pull through sometimes.
can you tell me the neighborhood in which you found it? i know this is an old post but ive been trying to find some panther chameleons in florida for a while. If you find a nerd with a flashlight, thats probably me lol.
Hello. I know this thread was old but I’ve been scrolling through some threads like this and I was wondering if you still go to that spot with the turquoise chameleons?I would love to check it out. They are panther chams right? And if you still go, can you tell me the spot? Thanks.
