    Cup Feeding Help 🙂

Oh, he hates being handled, I leave the crickets in the cup and probably 5-10 mins after I'm gone, he starts eating, lol. I just let the crickets escape onto the branches for a couple weeks so he could figure out where they were coming from, now he goes to the cup himself and eats.

    Cup Feeding Help 🙂

My veiled ate for a couple weeks with the crickets being able to climb out of the cup on a stick, then he learned to go straight to the cup for them and I removed the stick, now he eats everything out of the cup everyday.

    translucent veiled chameleon growth?

My 2.5 month translucent veiled has very obvious spurs, and is only 4-5 inches long, I'd say your cham is more like 6 months and likely a girl if you cant see them.

    Let the battle begin!

Guess I'll be naming my next chameleon Jackie Chan in honor of the only true movie-martial-arts master. . .

    Watering method

Man, I must live in a different climate from y'all, if I misted at all during the day, the humidity would be well into the 80%'s...

    Watering method

I've got by pretty well so far with a hand sprayer, the kind you pump up and it locks open so you dont have to keep squeezing the trigger. It was like $7 at home depot. I also like to be able to spray bigger plants more thoroughly and reduce runoff water you usually get with an automatic system...

    Not eating still

I won't claim to be an expert by any means, but your chameleon's behavior sounds pretty much identical to my veiled's the first couple weeks I had him. I've had him 4.5 weeks now. He certainly would not eat from a cup, didn't like the shooting gallery I made, and would only rarely eat a cricket...

    First trip outside for Apone

He was thinking about jumping down to the grass, but he didnt do it! Sun made his colors come out, I didnt get a good picture of it, but his eyes are very blueish outdoors, could that mean he'll have some more blue to his coat maybe?

    Forcefed young chameleon.

This Wyze camera was about $50 shipped with a long cord so I could set it on top of the cage and be plugged in all the time, let's you view from phone app, playback the past and record vids and take pictures, I'm quite happy with it so far.

    Forcefed young chameleon.

Sorry he didn't make it. Sometimes the young ones are just not up to all the changes they have to go through when you first get them. I've tried several methods to get my little veiled to eat and have only recently had some luck getting him to eat small crickets by putting a stick into their...

    Forcefed young chameleon.

I also have a young veiled who hasn't been eating much. He spent some time today looking at the crickets in his feeder bowl, then left them alone. Not long after, I caught him on video striking a leaf on the live pothos plant in the cage and I believe he ate a small gnat/fly off the leaf. I...

    Picky Baby Veiled

My little guy seemed to eat dubias from nearby branches great at first (1 week ago), now he just lets them walk around him, and he's never eaten them out of a cup. I wonder if they didn't agree with him somehow?? Sorry, I don't have any good advice to give.
