    Buying Silkworms closer to home?

Back on topic. I was thinking that I would buy silkworm eggs from Mulberry Farms and just hatch/raise my own. It seems fairly practical if you have more than one herp to feed and more so if you have a variety of sizes. I haven't checked, but it's probably less expencive in terms of shipping...

    May 2008 Reptiles mag

How big of a tree? I'm thinking large scale so think rebar, fiberglass, concrete, etc. I once made a 3D background for a my 200G mangrove swamp tank out of styrofoam and concrete. I hated it so I garage'd the piece.

whats the deal with pet stores

Local Pet Retail Stores are in the business of selling live animals to inexperienced people. They don't intend to keep them on the shelf for more than a couple days so they tend to keep them in tight quarters. I have a feeling these retail stores are owned by people who once meant well and are...

    I was wondering...

I only have the one pair, so I use the female to get him to start flexing, then show him a mirror. I think another male would probably get the job done a lot better. I've never even seen mine give a full fired up look, he's too mellow. Never hurts to bad talk his mama.

    Baby Cost?

I spent $10 on a Hydei FF culture and have been feeding off it daily for the last 2 weeks or so. I'm starting to think raising baby chameleons was easier than I had originally thought!

    Having problems keeping crickets.

What's the age of the crickets? If they're adults 5-6 weeks they're just about at the end of their lives anyway. This is why I always buy 4 week.

    My new dog

Getting married?! Congrats and welcome to the club. We meet at my place for BBQ and beer once a month... see you there. =) Honestly, about the chams, you have to know when enough is enough. I knew it was time to slow down on brackish aquariums when my entire house sounded like running water.

    Clutch Hatching; Couple Questions.

So far, so good. I've confirmed that they are all drinking and that my first hatched does eat. However everyone is pretty shy, so I only manage to catch them drinking if I sneak up on them and don't get spotted. The tank they are in is crawling with hydei FFs so they're is no need for any...

    Clutch Hatching; Couple Questions.

Hopefully you wont have to ask. I thought I was ready for the hatching process from the stuff I had read @ www.chameleonnews.com, but I was wrong. Now that I have 2 out, and more experience, I'm feeling a lot more relaxed about the whole thing.
