ok so we need lighting for this thing... so this is what I've come up with...a repti-glo 5.0 4 footer and drilled out and tapped in 4 candelabra sockets with 40watt bulbs for heating...will have to monitor for temps before this is set but so far so good, of coarse to me this doesn't look...

Sweet, you have a materials list? Def a cool little setup, also the misting system... need details hah..... only thing I see that I would change is the clear hose from the mister, I thought black is better due to algae growth through the hose cause of the light, I could be wrong...
While I think this post is awesome, I don't know how much sugar or yeast to place into the mix here on the first step, can you over or under-do this? can i have too much or too little or either? I know the potatoes will thicken it up but just want to have a good idea of how much goes in here...
Ive been thinking of the misting issue... I may drill a few holes in the bottom of the cage and lift it up and place a small gutter like system under it to catch the water into a bucket.. and just a little more framing and such i can put legs on it and hide the ugliness... All my materials came...
Well this is what I came up with...
The Floor 3 coats of polyurethane
The cages themselves, made of screen repair pieces and aluminum bug screen
bottom applied
Sealed with silicone, goes on white drys clear.
Top stained poly'd and sealed as well applied to top of cage..

Ok 1st of the hatchlings is now 4 days old.... no others are sweating yet, kinda weird but I've heard weirder, is that a word? Anyways, new enclosure is almost complete will post a few pics, I never seem to get any during photos... but measurements are 18 inches deep 12 inches tall and 4 foot...
