I wouldnt place their cages next to eachother! It could cause alot of stress on the female and she will not want to breed! WHat I did in the past is...bring the female to the males cage and when she doesnt gape, hiss or show her dark non receptive colors! She will just climb right into the males...

Ok great...so your talking about the Eco Earth? I have some of that and was thinking about that! Also, I just noticed that we have Vermeculite at my work and my boss is going to let me take a small bag of some! So will the eggs be okay in the perlite til I get home about 5 PM tonight?
