i use filtered brita tap water. ive noticed that i got alot of yellow buildup in my mister/dripper with plain tap but i havent seen any yet with filtered! i still clean out my mister/dripper frequently though

my first chameleon was a dilepis and she was the sweetest animal ive ever kept. i found her being sold at a small family owned petshop where i frequently bought crickets for my anoles and had to have her. an instant obsession with chams!

my chameleon does this when she drinks. i think its their way of swallowing the water when they tilt their heads back. i dont think she hisses loudly though, you can just see her tounge moving around in her throat like shes swallowing and she licks her lips.
