    My whole collection (almost)

WOOT!! Always love to see updates of the kids. :D Fantastic job with the melleri, Danny!! I will have to post a couple pics, but I just weighed the biggest one on their 4 mos. birthday (the 25th was the first day they started hatching so I use that as their birthday...) and it was a whopping...

    Chicagoans: May 7th: Chameleons 101

Chill Kevin. :D I will be at today's show but only to drop stuff off and to talk to a few people and I will not be set up. Thank you for thinking of me, but I currently do not have any panthers for sale. Feel free to inquire with any of this forum's sponsors as they have quality panthers...

Baby Melleri Update - 2.5 mo. pics

Thanks so much Flux - means a lot coming from you. :) Last time I checked (which was a couple of weeks ago), they were all between 5 and 6 grams and then there were a couple of the smaller ones that were still at 4. I watch them closely several times per day checking their eyes and...

Baby Melleri Update - 2.5 mo. pics

I have had a few requests for updates, so here goes: They are nearing the 3 month mark and are doing quite well. A few of them (the largest ones) have developed very prominant nose nubs and all of them have started developing their flaps. They sport amazing colors all the time, varying from...

    My Beloved Magna Cham

Thanks guys. Yes, I have known this was coming for a few months now, but it is still hard nonetheless. I'm sure watching the progression of the combo traits of he and Darth Francine will keep my head elsewhere, though. :)

    My Beloved Magna Cham

He held out about 4-5 weeks longer than I thought he would, but unfortunately, Magna Cham, my biggest male and one of my favorite melleri I've ever had and whom I've had for many years, finally passed away in the middle of the night. :( Since the passing of Newbie a few months ago, the...

    Combining cages

Very nice, Danny, very nice. He's going to love it!! You must have read my mind - the remaining hellions here are going to be moving into bigger cages within the next couple of days (whenever I can get off my duff to get them done) - just in time for their 2 month birthday!! :D;) Isn't...

    Send off for Zippo

So sorry to hear when a melleri passes, as they are so dear to me. I, myself, am gearing up for the passing of Magna Cham (dad to the recent babies) and that will not be easy. I am so sorry for Zippo's passing. :(:(:(

    More for meller?

Yes, you need way more room. The more room you can give, climbing area, exploration, etc., the better. Remember that they are one of the few species that are social with humans and each other. If you put up vines and other ways of climbing and exploring all through the house, they will do it.

My new boy/girl (Heavy Pics of Melleri)

This guy/gal has a LOT of growing to do. Be prepared. :D This one looks like only a sub-adult based on the size. Maybe a 1.5 years or so.

My new boy/girl (Heavy Pics of Melleri)

I see by his eyes, skin and casque that he is dehydrated, malnourished and in need of just some really good care. You are off to a good start. Keep giving him lots of water/long mistings, real sun (if you can - otherwise the proper lighting), real plants and lots of climbing space and he/she...
