I am not anti breeding i think its great when someone sticks it out on the line to do something they love! You have to consider that most of these guys are veterans who seen a lot of these threads and get jaded after seeing the results from the failed attempts.
Its that image thats painted when...
Another pick a name thread!
A new family member arrived today! I picked this up from FastedMclintock, he was heading back to college and could not take him. He is a 14 month old ambilobe male whose sire is Kammer's "Soa-poaka".
I was thinking:

Do it yourself
Aluminum Screen
Spline Tool
Black Spline
I suggest the bright finish aluminum because they say it allows more light to pass thru so it will block the uvb less than a charcoal colored screen.
Also the spline I suggested... not sure that is the correct size 100% you...
White distilled vinegar
This is a popular household cleanser, effective for killing most mold, bacteria, and germs, due to its level of acidity.
Get rid of the deposits and build up in water lines where tap water was used (foggers/humidifiers/mist nozzles).

Must be something up in that Ill water... you kind of remind me of someone from chicago with that last post. ;)
Cool, yeah I got my t8 12% bulb in today. Todd sure does wrap these things up! Took me 10 minutes to get it out of all the packing without getting peanuts all over the place.
totally hate that you are having to ponder this matter at all. Like others said you have to gauge when her quality of life has diminished. Sadly we usually do not react until its past the point where the pet's living is more painful for it than it is for us to have them put to sleep.
I have a comparison Frances Baines posted elsewhere saved from some research I did earlier:
These are all in plain fixtures, no reflectors, no mesh. UV Index readings with
Solarmeter 6.5.

at 10" - UVI 1.1
at 12" - UVI 0.8

That is a continuous diaphragm pump used to boost water pressure which is usually used in ro/di setups when the source water is lacking the pressure to push it thru the filter media.
buy a new pump you can get one from aquazamp, mistking or buy one on e-bay or amazon etc... your looking for a booster/diaphragm pump with at least 65 psi. The fact the seal had been broken and someone had been into the unit should of worried you from the start, someone just took you I fear.
You need a booster pump to push at least 50-60psi to get the force needed to push a misting nozzle. Then you need poly tubing to handle that psi. If you took a submersable pump with say a head lift of 7 ft, you could make a dripper but nothing more.
Or get an outside misting system that hooks...
looks good, how did the varnish go on for you, any fumes?
The fan combo looks interesting, never seen that before but if side mounted about mid level could draw a little cross breeze in for you. Just not sure if it will have enuff draw to do anything in that sized enclosure.
