Lol!! I like it. Her crib is in the room with my big enclosure she just lays and stares at the lights. I think she would like crickets though. Better then my roaches I guess. At least in the event of they are gut loaded. So don't worry everyone they are healthy mmmmm
Thank you everyone!!!! She is the single most amazing beautiful bundle of screaming redness I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I had no idea I could love something so much. I think this will be an amazing journey with her. I couldn't be happier!! Again thanks everyone
We just had a beautiful little girl(Amelia Marie) on1-2-13. So now that takes my count up to one kid,7 cats(Toby,Mr,candy,Emma,Cleo, isabelle, and pancake), 2 dogs(abbey and Mabel), 2 veileds(chamile and Stuart), 55 gallon freshwater tank, and 72 eggs incubating in the closet.
I bought one a year and a had ago went out in three months didn't follow the directions. I used tap water. I got a new one over a year ago I use only bottled water works fine. I keep it on as long as the lights are on. I keep it set low so the humidity stays around 60%. I like mine. Think it...

Just got home from a long day with the in laws. I went into my room and there was a great big female dubia sitting on my bed. My girl told me I couldn't have them in the house. So I got them at work she was mad. Not as mad as a roach in the bed though. Just thought i would share
Yes, when I take pics of my female veiled with my phone she puffs up and hisses at it. Not the camera though. I wonder if it isn't cause my phone is black. Camera is red
I'm by Omaha in a very old house. Both of mine are in the two coolest rooms of the house. Don't have to many problems with temps. Once in the beginning of fall this year we forgot to run the heat and it got down to 50 brrrr. My female didn't seem to care but my male didn't look so good for half...
Thanks my girl doesn't get it either cause she can't pet or hold them. I was kinda going for seasonal. I had regular tuperware in my hands till I saw those ones. I just couldn't resist. I do have a couple more questions though. The eggs are between 72-75. Is that ok? I cut down on temps and...
I found it a lot easier to put them in a tote with vertical.egg crate on one side. on the other put a small container of some sort. I use one dollar frisbees perfect height. Then put damp substrate in it. They will lay there eggs in it for sure. Leave it in the tote for ten days. Then take it...
Well I hope it works so she will be around as long as possible. Thank god she is looking ok this afternoon she was still pretty rough this morning. I would be too if I laid that many eggs. She is spoiled in her giant enclosure that my girlfriend hates cause its bigger then the dresser it sits...
